In order to start trading on Bybit MT5, you will need to create a MT5 account linked to your Bybit account. Here is a guide to create and activate your Bybit MT5 account.

 

 

 

Step 1: On the MT5 landing page, click on the Register now button.

 

 

Note: If you do not have a Bybit account, click on the Sign-Up button and follow the instructions in this guide. If you have a Bybit account already, you will be required to log in if you have not done so.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Open the MT5 landing page again and click on Open MT5 Account.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Read carefully and accept the Terms and Conditions by ticking the box. Then, click on Next.

 

    

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Create the Master Password for your Bybit MT5 account. Ensure that the passwords inputted match each other before clicking on Create MT5 Account.

 

 

Note: 

• 2 types of accounts are available on MT5 based on the password that you will enter in the MT5 login page:

  • Master Password: The Master Password grants full access to your trading account. This includes the ability to open and close trades. Each trader can set the Master Password that they prefer. To protect your account, please make sure to set a difficult password and not to share it with anyone.

  • Investor Password: The Investor Password grants read-only access to your trading account. The trading functionality will be disabled. A random Investor Password will be generated for you after the successful activation of your MT5 account.

• The creation of a MT5 account requires KYC. If you have yet to verify your Bybit account with KYC, you will be prompted to complete the verification process.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: The system will generate a MT5 Login ID and an Investor Password and will display your MT5 account details in a pop-up window.

 

 

Note: 

• You can note down your Investor Password and keep it somewhere safe.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6: Click on the Go to My Dashboard button to be redirected to the MT5 Dashboard where you can deposit funds into your Bybit MT5 Account to start trading.
